A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HON. GEORGE RICARDO R. GACULA II TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH APPCASE INC., FOR THE USE OF THEIR DIGITAL CONTACT TRACING TOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL
WHEREAS, Contact Tracing is a vital procedure in identifying persons and places that a COVID-19 patient has been in close contact with, allowing the fast containment of the disease and therefore reducing the spread of COVID-19 in the municipality;
WHEREAS, with the ongoing COVID-19 vaccine program in the country, it is important to have a system that will be capable of recording important information related to the vaccine as well as monitor and report the adverse effect of the vaccine;
WHEREAS, AppCase Inc. sent a letter to the Municipal Government of Taytay regarding their Contact Tracing Proposal and Vaccination Program which composes of Contact Tracing - Case Management Tool, QR Code Proximity Contact Tracing, and Electronic Vaccination Records;
WHEREAS, AppCase Inc. digital contact tracing tool will be a great help to the Municipality of Taytay in terms of contact tracing and vaccine adverse effect monitoring;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 11th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby AUTHORIZES THE LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HON. GEORGE RICARDO R. GACULA II TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH APPCASE INC., FOR THE USE OF THEIR DIGITAL CONTACT TRACING TOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the duly signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) shall be ratified first by the Sangguniang Bayan before its full implementation.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
